Pick Your Battles

There are moments when, as a parent, you have to stand your ground.

Bedtime.

No candy before dinner.

No candy for breakfast.

A lot of battles are the result of untimely candy requests.


But sometimes, you just have to say, "Fine, now get in the car; we're already late."
